The Woolpack Guesthouse and Restaurant was converted from a 13th century woollen mill situated in the small hamlet of Pandy, in the picturesque Ceiriog Valley in North Wales. The Ceiriog Valley has remarkably retained it's cultural heritage and unspoilt countryside and is only a few miles from the English border and the A5.

The Restaurant still retains little bits of the past - the river was diverted through the mill so as the tannery workers could wash the oil out of the fleeces and it still runs through the restaurant today.

Mountains and rocky crags are found to the east and west and the fast flowing River Ceiriog which flows from the south to the north will lull you to sleep at night.
Wildlife abounds everywhere :
Buzzards ,kites, falcons, herons are but a few of the birds while otters can occasionally be seen off the riverside patio at the rear. Badgers, foxes, stoats, weasels, can also be spotted while stretching the legs on the walking trails.

Llangollen - This much famed home of the International Eisteddfod is just 20 minutes away over the hill, with wonderful views of the Berwyns on the short journey.

Activities are numerous - Walking trails, horse riding, mountain biking, quad off road trails, organised white water rafting, golfing, trout fishing, etc. Day trips e.g. canal trips, National trust properties and tours to Chester, Llandudno, Snowdonia and to Ireland on the fast ferry.

No request is too big or too small, for us in the valley, to try and make your holiday or break something you will enjoy. You will leave here with wonderful memories that will encourage you to return to our little Eden and bring your friends with you on your next visit.
